We're back! Hope you all had a marvellous Christmas and New Year!
The 2012 US Lacrosse Convention took place a week or so ago in Philadelphia and we now have a few new things to add to our shop listings....
New products will soon be available from Brine, deBeer, Reebok, STX and soon Warrior too....watch this space for news of new deliveries.
FIL Umpire Game Card:
Now available, the FIL/Prolaxshop.com Umpire Game Card. This custom-made plastic game card is designed to be written on in pencil during the game - the recorded game information can then be erased and the card used again...and again! The reverse side includes playing field dimensions and a summary of Overtime Procedures for the FIL women's game.
Apex Pro 2.0 Heads: deBeer have decided to discontinue the production of the Apex 2.0 Head as it was declared not legal under FIL and US Lacrosse regulations.

The replacment for the Apex 2.0 - the new deBeer Aurora should be ready to ship to us from the USA in some colours from early January
Tournament Sales:
Don't forget to let us know what you would like to see when you meet us at any of the above events - pre-orders can also be "just to have a look" or to just try something on....
From now on, the aim of our tournament visits will be to show as much new equipment as possible and to discuss how we can help teams and players achieve their aims....no more cash sales on the day! Pre-orders can and will be delivered at tournaments, and will all be supplied with invoices.
Please let us know what you would like to see before any tournament, or pre-order for delivery at the tournament itself. All orders taken during tournaments will be delivered free of shipping charges after we get back to the office.

Stringing News!
Stringing materials for men's heads should from now on be ordered as "Mesh" and "Strings & Laces only" - we have changed to a "building block" system for stringing kits, so "full stringing kits" should from now on be bought as two items......please let us know if you have any questions or problems with this!

We have expanded our range of instructional DVDs, adding 16 new titles from the wide-ranging library of US-based Championship Productions - click through on the link or visit our "Magazines & DVDs" section (the DVDs are listed in Men's & Women's accessories too!).
If you want to get hold of any other DVD that Championship Productions have in their selection, please let us know and we will get it for you.

Wherever possible, Stringing Kits and small items will be sent to the UK, The Netherlands and other EU countries by postal recorded delivery and any savings in shipping will be passed back to you....please check with us if our system tries to charge you our full shipping rate when you order items like these.
Prolaxshop.com is also pleased to announce that all of our shipping charges have been reduced for smaller orders and that the thresholds for free shipping have also been reduced in all cases.
Euro/GB Pound exchange rate, 3rd January 2012:
In order to keep our prices transparent for our UK customers, we regularly update the exchange rate we use to calculate guideline GB Sterling prices from our normal Euro ones. At today's rate of exchange, this is set at 1,00 Euro : 0,8368 GBP. (approx. € 1,195 = 1,00 GBP) - hopefully the Pound will continue to gain in strength!
This rate is intended as a guideline as the final price paid on order will depend on the prevailing rate of exchange on the day that your Bank or Credit Card company debits your account.
